The Quinta Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, dating from 1888, is located in São Vicente Ferreira, approximately 11 km away from the city of Ponta Delgada and 13 km away from the city of Ribeira Grande, on the island of São Miguel. It is a Rural Tourism property, open to the public since 1999. It has a typical cellar with all the artifacts used in wine production. Vegetables, fruits, including passion fruit, and grapes used in the production of the well-known wine “vinho de cheiro” are produced here organically. The owners are happy to show you throughout the process of the grapes' growth stages and how they are later transformed into wine in their own cellar. Here you can taste regional Azorean products, such as cornbread, linguiça, morcela, cheese and yam. There are also wines, liqueurs and brandy produced in the Azores at your disposal. Quinta Nossa Senhora de Lourdes promises you two unforgettable hours in this idyllic place, in the company of this family that has welcomed people from all over the world!
