Present on all the islands, this route unravels the work tools, whaling boats, factories, workshops, ramps, try-works and lookouts that continue to mark the Azorean landscape to this day.
Without them, there would be no Azores. Without them, there would be no Azorean Culture. In addition to understanding these geological phenomena, The Volcanoes Route, present in all the islands, aims to contextualize the umbilical relationship between the Azorean Man and Nature over centuries, as well as to illustrate all the constraints from this cohabitation to the present day.
The Wine Route is an opportunity to experience the history of the azorean wine culture, with about five centuries, through manor houses and farmhouses, wineries, winemaking cooperatives, ports, rola-pipas, rilheiras…
