A Quinta da Jardinete is a small family-owned property with about 5 ha, originally built in 1989, in Fenais da Luz. With a history of several generations dedicated to orange production, Quinta da Jardinete has been standing out for producing classic-style wines that express the qualities of its terroir, that is, of its volcanic soils type, microclimate and vineyard management.
All production is carried out within the property, the family performing most of the agricultural work. There is no mixing of grapes from other areas or regions, a stipulation of the terroir of this very particular vineyard and harvest.
The wine is mainly sold to local customers and to carefully selected restaurants throughout the island of São Miguel.
